KEROL - AFFLIATE DIRECTOR
Mohd. Khairul Mohd. Noor has always been passionate about movies.
Since his early days in FINAS and finally at the New York Film
Academy, he has been a director who fights for all the fundamentals of
filmmaking.
Kerol has always preferred props and clever filmmaking over computer
generated imagery. He shot his first short film, Bandit's Dream on
16mm and has been since accepted into numerous film festivals.
Truly a versatile director, Kerol has directed hip hop, rock, glam
rock and other forms of rock music. When he came back from the New
York Film Academy he first directed Doul's music video - a Malaysian
hip hop artist. He even shot Deja Voodoo Spells' music video back to
back with Doul's.
Returning to New York with a fresh showreel, he directed several
international acts which include Bob Dee with Petro - Outta My Face,
Oskar and the Psycholovers - Lucky Number and hip hop underground
darlings, The Good People - These Times.
Not content with having international musicians under his belt, he
returned to Malaysia to direct a music video for an upcoming Malaysian
band - The 6th Sense - Tak Bisa Memilihmu. Staying true to his
passionate and romantic notion for filmmaking - Kerol triumphantly
directed this one take wonder of a video. It has no cuts and is
currently on air on local television stations.
Kerol a.k.a Momo is currently writing scripts for a short and his
first feature film.
